On April 29, 2018, the Australia-China Culture and Economic Promotion Association appointed Peter Russo MP(Queensland State member of Toohey ) and the Australian Medal of Order Lewis Lee as the honorary advisor of the Association.

On May 25, 2018, the Australia-China Culture and Economic Promotion Association appointed Graham Perrett MP ( house of representatives for Moreton, Queensland) as honorary advisor.

Australian Federal Parliament Member Graham Perrett MP mentioned and demonstrated the honorary Consultant Certificate issued by the Australia-China Cultural and Economic Promotion Association when speaking at the Australian Parliamentary Assembly at 1.52 pm on May 30, 2018.

On June 24, 2018, Zhiwu Zheng, President of the ACCEP, and Linli Xi, Vice President and Secretary-General, as the representatives of overseas Chinese leaders, had morning tea together with Annastacia Palaszczuk , Premier of Queensland.

ACCEP participated in and organised the establishment of 24 Chinese associations-Chinese Association Morning Alliance, published two issues of "Queensland Life Guide" in 2017 and 2018, issued life cards, provided convenience for the life of 5000 families, new book in 2017 The launching ceremony was reported by CCTV4.

On September 29, 2018, Mr. Peter Russo(Queensland state member of Toohey) was invited to visit Anyang and visited the Museum of Chinese Characters, which led to the signing of the Museum of Chinese Characters and ACCEP. The construction of this base will allow more people to experience the profoundness and charm of Chinese characters.

Our association hosted the first “Queensland Parliamentary Friends of China. The Premier of Queensland, the Chinese Consul General and Deputy Consul General in Brisbane, as well as 6 state ministers, 7 shadow ministers, more than 20 state members of Queensland, more than 130 Chinese community leaders. The "Queensland Parliamentary Friends of China" event received a great response in Queensland. The Consulate General reported it twice and local Chinese newspapers also rushed to report it. On November 15th, China Central Television "CCTV4" reported on the "Chinese World" column, adding new luster to the relationship between China and Australia and the friendship between the peoples.

In August 2019, a group of 6 people from China Qianhai Maker Entrepreneur Club was invited to visit Queensland, and the Australian Cultural and Creative Center was established in Queensland, and Zhiwu Zheng was appointed as the chairman, responsible for cultural exchanges between the two countries.

In October 2019, ACCEP organised business delegation of 25 people from Queensland to visit China, and successively went to Nanning, Guilin, Zhengzhou, Anyang, Henan, Hangzhou, Zhejiang and China to conduct business connections to promote Australian products and culture.

Currently, the Promotion Association is communicating with the Queensland Entrepreneur Club of Tuwangba to promote Australian products to China and establish an Australian Products Exhibition Hall in Zhengzhou, China.
